Zee Executions ("we," "us," or "our") developed the Bill Viewer Pakistan mobile application ("App") as a free, ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not use the App.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Bill Reference Numbers: When you check a utility bill, you enter a reference number. This number is sent directly to the respective official utility portal (e.g., PITC, K-Electric, SNGPL) to retrieve your bill. We do NOT transmit, collect, or store your reference numbers on our servers.
  • Custom Names / Nicknames: If you save a bill with a custom name (e.g., "Home," "Office"), this data is stored locally on your device only.
  • Meter Readings: If you manually log meter readings in the consumption tracker, this data is stored locally on your device only.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: We may collect non-personal device information such as device type, operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers. This information is collected by third-party advertising and analytics services integrated in the App.
  • Usage Data: General usage statistics such as app feature interactions, session duration, and crash reports may be collected through third-party analytics services to improve app performance and user experience.
  • Advertising Data: Our third-party advertising partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general usage data to serve relevant advertisements.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information through the App.
  • We do NOT require any account registration, login, or sign-up.
  • We do NOT access your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or files.
  • We do NOT store any billing data on our servers.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the limited information described above for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (bill checking, saving, and tracking)
  • To improve the App's performance, stability, and user experience
  • To serve advertisements through third-party ad networks
  • To analyze usage trends and diagnose technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

4.1 Local Storage

All user-generated data (saved bills, reference numbers, nicknames, meter readings, bill history, reminder settings, and app preferences) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database (Hive). This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

4.2 Security Measures

We take reasonable measures to protect data processed within the App. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any information.

4.3 Data Retention

Since all user data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all locally stored data: saved bills, history, meter readings, and preferences.

5. COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The App itself does not use cookies. However, third-party services integrated in the App (such as advertising and analytics SDKs) may use cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies to collect information and serve relevant advertisements. You can manage cookie preferences through your device settings.

6. EXTERNAL LINKS & WEBVIEWS

The App may display content from official utility provider websites within embedded WebViews (in-app browsers) for bill checking purposes. These external websites are operated by their respective utility companies and are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external websites.

External websites accessed through the App include:

  • https://bill.pitc.com.pk (Electricity — PITC portal)
  • https://ke.com.pk (K-Electric)
  • https://www.sngpl.com.pk (Sui Northern Gas)
  • https://viewbill.ssgc.com.pk (Sui Southern Gas)
  • https://dbill.ptcl.net.pk (PTCL)
  • Various WASA regional portals

We strongly advise users to review the privacy policies of these external websites when accessing them through the App.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information through any channel, we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email address provided below so we can take appropriate action.

8. YOUR RIGHTS & OPT-OUT

8.1 Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting the ad settings on your Android device:

  • Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
  • Or go to Settings > Privacy > Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

8.2 Opt-Out of Analytics

You can disable Google Analytics data collection by adjusting your device settings or within the applicable Google settings on your device.

8.3 Data Deletion

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all data at any time by:

  • Clearing the App's data through your device settings, or
  • Uninstalling the App

No data will be retained on any server after uninstallation.

8.4 Consent Withdrawal

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you have the right to stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. No information will be kept or shared after uninstallation.

9. DO NOT TRACK

The App does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals. However, you may control tracking through your device's advertising settings as described in Section 8.

10. INTERNATIONAL USERS

The App is primarily designed for users in Pakistan. If you access the App from outside Pakistan, please be aware that your information may be processed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan and the jurisdictions where third-party service providers operate.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and may notify users through the App.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

Bill Viewer Pakistan is NOT an official application of any government department, ministry, or utility company. It is an independent, third-party utility that retrieves billing information from publicly accessible official portals for user convenience. All trademarks referenced in the App are the property of their respective owners.
